Social affairs and inclusion

The Main Taunus district is one of short distances, this can also be seen in everyday life when support is needed. The Main Taunus social map shows (in German) the way to social service providers. The district itself brought the Main Taunus foundation into being; it specifically helps people who are in special need and who live here.

Furthermore, the district administration carries out a whole range of legally defined support and in addition to this also offers, in addition to this- for instance, the debt advice service. By using the search function on our homepage you will quickly get to the appropriate information.

The Main Taunus district is a district for every generation. In line with the general assistance for senior citizens we have published a guide for senior citizens for older citizens. Furthermore, the care liaison office is on hand with help and advice for all interested parties. The ombudsman office for care liaises if there are problems between establishments.

The aim of inclusion is the social participation of people with disabilities. The district also offers support in this, for example through the advisory board for people with disabilities.

The Main Taunus district also brings together people concerned in other areas and helps by giving information and intercommunication – for instance in the self-help contact office.

The family guide from our office for family, women, equality and integration also provides valuable assistance (in German).
